Chuck’s Welding is a family owned and run business located in the Permian Basin. The company was started in 1973 by Charles (Chuck) and Carolyn Landrum and to date operations have continued in the same building in Hobbs, NM.
Chuck learned welding from his father at an early age. Surprisingly, Chuck came to work as a welder in the same building that the business currently operates in when he was only 18 years old, Chuck later purchased the business when he was just 26 years old.

Welding and Repairs
Chuck and his wife, Carolyn, grew Chuck’s Welding offering full-service, high-quality welding and repairs to the Oil & Gas industry and the local community. Chuck’s son, Cameron, teamed up with his dad and has now worked in the business for over 25 years. Cameron mastered welding working with his dad and other experienced welders at Chuck’s Welding. The company has carried on a legacy of craftsmanship and attention to detail that you don’t find much these days. Following on the tradition, Chuck’s Welding is now mentoring the next generation of craftsmen.
In 2017, Chuck and Carolyn retired and their sons Chuck Jr. and Cameron took over the business. Continuing the family tradition, Chuck Jr.’s son, Tarron, and Cameron’s son, Chase, also joined Chuck’s Welding. Today, Chase is an integral part of Chuck’s Welding’s expansion into Pipe Inspection.

Chuck’s Welding has the skill and expertise to tackle your welding, fabrication and repair needs. We repair and rig-up all types of vehicles, trailers, and equipment.
We have expanded to more than the “welding” in our name:
We fabricate and install commercial metal products such as staircases, railings, barriers, signs and more.
Also, we offer turnkey tubing inspection for the Oil and Gas industry utilizing the latest, most advanced inspection equipment and certified inspectors.
